15 & 16th century values are different. Religion dominated space
relations – T.O. maps were less a view of the world and more an
abstract world view which was developed according to the bible & mythology
of Noah’s sons inhabiting the earth (Asia -Shem, Africa-Ham, Europe -Jafeth)
